Rhiann Houlihan: Costumier

I designed and constructed this ensemble, after studying the work of the late fashion artist, Elsa Schiaparelli. The jacket, skirt and hat were inspired by Schiaparelli’s creations from the 1930's. The construction processes I used included cutting on the stand, flat pattern drafting, fabric sourcing, tailoring techniques and millinery.
