Rhiann Houlihan: Costumier

This production was performed at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, in February 2013. As the Specialist Costume Maker, my role involved creating the two Tudor-style gowns for Anne Boleyn, played by Sophie Morgan-Price. My process included cutting on the stand, carrying out fittings and construction. The techniques used in both dresses included making and attaching piping, cartridge pleating and creating a draped sleeve.
